I recommend not feeding dogs any types of bones because they can splinter off a piece and it can damage and even preforate their intestines, stomach, etc. We have actually had to do exploritory surgery on dogs who have eaten bones to go in and get the remnants that get lodged and they cannot pass and to fix rips and tears. It does not always happen and you may feed them a bone and never have a problem but there is always a possibility.
