cranks/starts then dies... fuel pump replaced 1 week ago. could be Crank Positon Sensor...not on front of engine anymore. Where is it at??
JA: Does the vehicle stall at low speeds? Does it sputter?
Customer: doesn't start!
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 2006 1500, engine is 5.7L hemi
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: found theTIPM (joke). dismantled and all cb components are smt. think I found CPS sensor on rear of engine near flywheel? someone said to jumpload side of fuse to acc port using

Agreed. I think the problem , including the one that caused the tech to change the pump was an intermittant pumprelay/ TIPM.

It's definitely possible that you are experiencing a fuel pressure issue but you could also be losing spark or the injectors could be shutting off due to a SKIM issue.

Does the S***** *****ght say on solid or flash when trying to start the engine or does it stay off?
