Have a 2005 Dodge Dakota, 4 wheel drive, 6 cylinder. Check

Customer Question

have a 2005 Dodge Dakota,***** 6 cylinder. Check engine light is on, had Auto Zone hook it up to their computer. Got several error codes P0300, P0507, P0700, P1776 & P0700 again. They could not give me any advise as to what parts could be the problem. Any info you can supply would be most helpful
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: stays on all the time. Also under the gear shift positions, DR, REV etc. it says error
JA: Are you fixing your Dakota yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes. So far I changed the oil and oil filter, transmission fluid and filter, new PCV valve and new crankcase position sensor
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No that sums up my problems and what I have done so far

there is no 'WHAT PARTS DO i NEED TO FIX THE ISSUES" to these fault codes. Proper troubleshooting needs to be done, i.e. continuity, voltage and ground tests of the wire to the solenoids, valve and sensors.
