JA: When was your last oil change?
Customer: Today, did it myself
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 05 Dodge Ram 1500 3.7 v6
JA: Are you fixing your Ram 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just replaced the oil pump, finished putting back together and won't start, check engine flashes
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Replaced oil pump which meant pulling the timing belt, draining the water pump and all, so I'm just curious if that is the reason it's not starting. But I've never had the check engine flash while I try to start the engine. It turns over fine but doesn't want to start, get under and all I smell is gas.

Pulled the truck apart, the tdc is where it needs to be on the 1st. And timing chains are aligned with the markings. Finished putting it back together last night and still it will not fire up. It turns over but won't start.
