the cable is bolted to the back of the backing plate, hav e you removed the bolts yet?

that one bolt has to come out, for the cable to come out of the backing plate, did the backing plate you bought come with the cable?
then you are going to have get that bolt out, or grind the head off it, and remove the cable, and then get a new bolt for the new backing plate?
it just pulls directly out, it is held in by a clamping bushing, but if it is rusted also, it may not come out without damaging the sensor, we run into this alot, usually we have to get a new sensor and a new clamping bushing when we do this? yes, but make sure you use shrink wrap around the wires,Tim
