let me know,Tim

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
It only has one bolt left but extremely rusted. Is there any other way to remove the cable?
Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 4 months ago.

that one bolt has to come out, for the cable to come out of the backing plate, did the backing plate you bought come with the cable?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
No it didn't
Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 4 months ago.

then you are going to have get that bolt out, or grind the head off it, and remove the cable, and then get a new bolt for the new backing plate?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
how about the abs sensor
Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 4 months ago.

it just pulls directly out, it is held in by a clamping bushing, but if it is rusted also, it may not come out without damaging the sensor, we run into this alot, usually we have to get a new sensor and a new clamping bushing when we do this? Below is a picture of the sensor and the clamping bushing,Tim

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Can I just cut it and hook it back up again?
Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 4 months ago.

yes, but make sure you use shrink wrap around the wires,Tim

Expert:  Tim Mohr replied 4 months ago.

are you going to use a new sensor?
