Its actually a Hyundai Santa fe 2008 with the 2.7 liter

Customer Question

its actually a Hyundai Santa fe 2008 with the 2.7 liter engine, the passenger side hi and low beams will not come on at all, checked bulbs with a dvm on continuity, and they tested fine same with the fuses
JA: Most vehicles have two fuse panels. Have you located both?
Customer: yes the only one on this car that has any fuses for the headlights is under the hood, the only thing i can figure is one side of the relays that run the hi and low beams may be out,
JA: Are you fixing your Santa Fe yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, it had a non working gas gauge, put a code reader on the car and found sensor cods on the fuel unit and egr purge flow errors, cleared the errors and gas gauge is working now. just checked bulbs and fuses on high and low on the right side circuit
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: that should take care of it. the licence plate lights dont light either didnt see a fuse for them

Thank you for the VIN!

Have you checked for power and or ground going to the bulbs on the passenger side?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
No not yet
Expert:  Amedee replied 7 months ago.

Ok, that will be your next step. The pink wire and the orange wire are the two powers for the bulbs (depending on the selection, high or low), the black wire is the ground for both bulbs. Here is a wiring diagram for these circuits.

No power at either one

Also lights won't come on unless vehicle is running
Expert:  Amedee replied 7 months ago.

Which lights are you talking about?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
Headlights on either side
Expert:  Amedee replied 7 months ago.

So no headlights at all? High beam or low beams?

Customer: replied 7 months ago.
With the car running the drivers side hi and lo and park lights work just have park lights on passenger side
Expert:  Amedee replied 7 months ago.

Got it! Thank you for that information.

Your sure all fuses are good correct? If so, then you will need to check the H/LP low right relay and inputs as well as the wire for the high beam circuit on that side from the juntion box to the right side high beam bulb.
