We replaced the fan on my 2004 Dodge Stratus one month ago.

Customer Question

We replaced the fan on my 2004 Dodge Stratus one month ago. Everything worked perfectly. Then, one week ago, i switched the fan speed from 2 to 4 and it just quit. After monkeying around with the knobs, I went around to the passenger side and looked at the fan. It looked normal. I pushed on the wire that plugs into the fan and the fan started running again. I proceeded to drive again and it worked alright for 15 minutes and then stopped again. I tried pushing on the same wire plug and nothing seems to happen now. I'm not sure if it's a fuse or what.
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: Yes, headlights work, and the battery is charged (not sure how full though)
JA: Are you fixing your Stratus yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I would like to fix it myself. Well, I tested the plug (down by the fan) and there seems to be no power to it. And, I looked at the fuses under the hood and (A and A40 both indicate fans) but both look fine
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Thats pretty much it!
