Which sensor did you disconnect the sensor and blue red wiring to ground?

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
the ambient temp sensor behind the grille on the left
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

I see, thanks. That could be what the problem is that set the code. However, they did have some issues on some with manual controls for the door actuators.

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
i don't understand
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
mine is sport model electrical doors
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
where does the sensor wiring go
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

Yes, they had issues and there were some that had recalls for the door actuators. It was a software issue.

Safety Recall J12
Reprogram HVAC Control Head Module

As for the trouble code P0073, the test would have to be done to determine the exact problem. The wire goes to the PCM.

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
i am in France and nobody to reprogrem hvac
can i disconnect it to fix
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

I don't see how 'disconnecting' it will fix it.

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
is it normal one of 2 wires goes to ground
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
the sensor resist is 792 ohm disconnected
Customer: replied 23 days ago.
i don't have any problem with doors i have p0073 and my heating control not working
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

So the HVAC controls are not working?

There is not a specified resistance spec for them and yes, one of the wires is the AAT signal and the other is grounded through the PCM.

Do you see the offer for premium services on that end?

Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

Or maybe the mode/temp 'doors' that are not responding to the HVAC commands?

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
maybe the heating control module is broken
maybe the sensor is broken too
is it normal one wire is connected to ground by the pcm module?
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

Yes, I already stated that. There are a lot of 'maybe's' and I am not sure what you are trying to get working on it.

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
i understand i am motorcycle mechanic myself but not ram expert
i can try to change the sensor
if the wiring is ok
for the heating command i don't have any light on it i think she is broken
did you have any experience about it
is it a part who causes often problems?
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

I see, thanks.

Let me just say that any money that you paid, or if you have a subscription, that money stays in your account until the answers are rated, (positive) regardless of how fast or how long it may take to get finished. You can FOLLOW UP AT ANYTIME, even after rating.

If the wiring is good, chances are that the sensor is just bad. It is also possible that the mode door actuator is what is wrong with the heating system. However,

"The HVAC Control Head Module on about 36,700 of the vehicles may have an inoperative mode door." The HVAC Control Head Module must be reprogrammed, as per factory service bulletin/recall.

Thanks

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
ok thanks
could you tell me vhere the unground wire from the sensor goes please
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

Sure that goes to the TIPM, (totally integrated power module) under the hood.

Please don’t forget to rate the answer in a positive way, . EVEN IF YOU HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION ****THAT IS THE ONLY WAY I GET PAID **** Thanks

Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

We, (the experts) are only paid by your positive ratings.

Did you need any tests or diagrams for it?

Customer: replied 23 days ago.
I will fix it by myself you don't really help me
Expert:  Jerry replied 23 days ago.

How can I help you if you won't do the required tests? Also, i can't reprogram your HVAC controller from here, thanks.
