The safety flashers work. The turn signals do not work on

Customer Question

The safety flashers work. The turn signals do not work on either side...
JA: Have you checked the fuse?
Customer: My friend took it to the parts store. She was told that the flasher was not working and that she needed to take it to a shop to have it replaced.
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: I believe it is a 2007 dodge caliber
JA: Are you fixing your Caliber yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I could not find the flasher. The fuses are under the hood. The safety flasher is clicking in the top of the dash. I believe that they are separate units.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I am not informed well enough to know if I left anything out.

Ok, there is no flasher for the turn signals in this vehicle. It is all controlled electronically through the TIPM which is the under hood fuse box. Fuse # 17 supplies power to the multifunction switch (turn signal switch). Check/replace fuse # 17. Let me know if that works.
