Hello and welcome! My name isCustomerand I can assist you with your question.
Are you looking for possible causes?
Have you checked for codes in the computer?
Can I start by getting your VIN?
Thank you for that information. Do you know if the engine has spark while cranking it over?
Thank you for that information. I understand what your saying.
I will need the code or codes in the computer and your VIN or engine size so we can proceed. Thank you!
Thank you for that information. One minute while I gather some info for you..
What model dodge do you have?
Thank you for that information.
If the cam and crank sensor has been replaced and it still shows a cam sensor code then there are two possible causes.
1. A wiring issue between the cam sensor and computer
2. Incorrect valve timing (jumped or loose timing belt)
It would need to be diagnosed first. So you would need to check the wiring and the timing marks. Based on my experience, the more common of the two is incorrect timing. When was the timing belt replaced last?
Yes Sir. Here is a picture of the timing belt and timing marks.
