Are you trying to rest the service indicator light?

Run the complete steps and lets see if it resets. If it dose not then that means there is a problem in the system.
Did the system reset?
If the system did not reset then there is a problem with it and the next step is going to require scanning the system to retrieve the fault code and or codes that should be setting. Are you able to do this?
If you have no codes then it should reset. did you try it again?
You have to have something else going on here if it did not reset. Are you sure there are no codes coming up?
There is no way to by pass it, one thing you can try is to stop and disconnect the negative battery cables for a few seconds and see if it will clear.
It should have rest with the steps I sent you. If it dose not then there is a problem with the system .
