No bus on odometer, gauges not working , abs light is on, airbag light is on, truck won't start. It's a 99 dodge ram 1500 Laramie 5.2 v8
JA: Is anything interfering with the seatbelt latch?
Customer: No
JA: Are you fixing your Ram 1500 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes I am, I've checked all fuses, disconnected the abs thing. Removed the dash cluster and checked for loose wires and am at a loss
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Ummm. Not that o van think of.

Sounds like you have a total BUS failure. This can be diagnosed easiy with a scantool to see which modules are active on the BUS or you could try to start disconnecting modules until the no bus goes away and then check that module. Have you tried disconnecting the PCM?
