Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you out with your question.

Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

This could be an ignition switch, or security system problem. Have you had this scanned for codes?

Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Would you like me to send you a wiring diagram of the starting system circuit?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have replaced the starter, battery, terminals and relay fuses
I have also checked for codes, and I have gotten 3 different ones, on for misfiring, one for skim code, and one for ASD, but the ASD came up after I removed the fuse

Are able to turn the engine over by hand on the crank sprocket?

Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Does it click when turning the key to the start position?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
i can turn the engine over by hand, and it buzzes, shows all the lights, but never engages
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Do you have a volt meter or test light?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
i do
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Check for voltage at the small wire on the starter with the key in start position.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
12.08-12.86 volt
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

What do you have to the large wire? the one from the battery?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
How do you mean? I have no modifications or sound system installed
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

There is a large wire that goes to the battery, a small wire for the switch signal

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
you said "What do i have" I have both wires, 1 that goes to the battery, the other that goes to the fuse box
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
oh the voltage! I have 13.02 coming to the battery
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

You should have battery voltage to the starter at all times on the large wire, the small wire should have 12 volts when the key in in the start position.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
It has that. I have tested this earlier, and I am getting power to the starter from the battery at all times
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

If you are getting voltage to both wires this indicates a problem with the starter solenoid.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I have voltage from the big wire, thats it
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
the small wire only has it when i turn the key
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

that is what is supposed to happen. I know you said you already replaced the starter, but what you are telling me indicates the starter is bad.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I just put in a new starter, even though I have had my old starter tested twice, and the new starter has a brand new starter solenoid
Customer: replied 2 months ago.
the old starter tested fine twice
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

Try using an old school test light on the smaller wire on the starter and turn the key to start.

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
I dont have one. like i said, I have replaced the starter and all fuses, checked the power from the battery to the starter, I still get no sound that it is going to starter, not even a click. I have gotten a skim key code once, but then it went away
Expert:  Dan replied 2 months ago.

I can no longer help with this, I will opt out and another expert will help shortly. Thanks.
