Dodge Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello and welcome! My name isCustomerand I can assist you with your question.
Chances are it says "no bus" on the dash. This is very common. This is caused by a bad or locked up module on board the vehicle in the BUS circuit. Based on my experience, when this happens, the module usually will need to be replaced. However, sometimes it locks up causing this problem. You can try a capacitor discharge by disconnecting the battery cables from the battery and holding them together for about 5 or 10 minutes. Sometimes this will do the trick and allow the vehicle to start.
