JA: Have you checked the brake fluid? How's the level and when was it last changed?
Customer: Yes,
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 2002 1500 SLT 4X4 4 Door
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes, I replaced the light module in the back
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I know of

I see the license lamps share the same ground, so you work?

they work, al the other lights work, turn signal, tail, back up.

I see the voltage from the stoplamp switch goes into the instrument cluster and from there into the front control module before heading off to the rear stop laps, so a scan tool will be needed at this point to retrieve the codes from all of those modules since they communicate through computer data lines.

Once you get any codes give them to me cause I may have a troubleshooting procedure for them codes.

If it's a scan tool yes, if a code reader probably not.
