Dodge Repair Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hi There, This is Clay, I'm a certified master automobile technician with 30 years of automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
From your description this can go a couple of different ways. If you have a code reader check and see if it will communicate with the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). If there is no communication most likely the PCM is at fault. If you have a code reader and it will communicate with the PCM remove the IOD fuse and or disconnect the battery cables and hold the cable ends together for one minute to reboot the Wireless Control Module (WCM). When disconnecting the battery always remove the negative battery cable first and replace it last.
Let me know if there is any communication and if any codes are stored. You can reply back to me through this thread at any time.
Let me knowThanks
