Customer Question

my key fob isnt working. I changed the battery. The alarm is on and the lights keep flashing. I dont know what to do.
JA: Have you changed a battery before?
Customer: yes
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 2005 Durango
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I would like to just disable the alarm. The previous owner had and aftermarket alarm installed but it was connected to the key fob somehow. I had the aftermarket alarm removed. It disabled the turn signals in the mirrors and the horn does not go off when the lights flash.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I think the CTM is going out.
