Spark at distributor but not at plugs
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 1998 dodge Durango 5.2
JA: Are you fixing your Durango yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Cap was burnt and rotor also, replaced both, and also the coil
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: It also had a new ECM installed

Hi there.

In cases where the coil is producing a spark, but the spark is not getting to the spark plugs, the first thing to check is the hi-tension wire. Have you checked it?

OK, in that case, either the cap button is not seating on the rotor, or the rotor arm is not long enough to allow the spark to jump to the terminal in the cap - the auto parts store might have given you the wrong rotor?
