Hi Im David, the low pressure line is ok to be hot. the high side needs to be cold and sweating as it goes into the evaporator.
do the pressure switches cylcle on and off at the correct pressures?
after the receiver/drier before it goes into the firewall?
the low side is supposed to kick on at around 20 and kick off around 40-45. then the high side takes over and will kick off around 250-300 and come back down waiting to kick on again and so on
no sir. after the high pressure passes through the orifice tube or expansion valve it is cold. what did you do to fix the issue?
I am glad you fixed the issue and here is a typical ac system. have a good day.
If you could leave a good rating for my assistance i would appreciate it. even though you believe i had it backwards the diagram and my experience confirm my answers, thanks take care.
