Driving on intertstate at 70mph and engine shuts off, no power steering, etc.
JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: Not sure what you mean. It usually will restart but then goes for a while then shut off again.
JA: What is the model/year of your Dodge?
Customer: 2005
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: currently in garage they are looking at fuel system
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: they very recently performed a 500 dollar tuneup

I had this same problem on my personal car. I would have them look at the EGR valve. I replaced mine and I have not had the problem happen again. My vehicle was a 2004 Dodge. Thank you.
