Good afternoon and welcome to JustAnswer!!

My name is ***** ***** I have worked for a Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep dealership for 19 years and I will do my best to help.

No a bad lifter will have no affect on the oil pressure light.. If you have a oil pressure light on then you will need to check the oil pressure with a manual gauge to see if it's really low or you have a bad sending unit. Also if the check engine light is on with a P0520 code then it's a bad oil pressure sending unit..
