let me look up the circuit for it and get back to you and tell where we need to start ?
is this the headlight switch you Have ?
Can you check the The RELAY PARK LAMP in this under hood fuse box and also fuse number #33 20 AMP & #34 10 AMP ? actualy if you have a test light i like to check all the fuse in the truck ,inside out ?
I have sent you the links for them
the relay should be bottom left in that box
i dont know if you can see the diagram i sent you, but it shows is in there, you can actually zoom in and out at the diagram because i sent you a link to my dropbox for it
can pull out the headlight switch and unplug it ,do you still have power on that relay ?
yes, you should, if you dont hear it , it try replacing it with on like it in that box and try if it corrects the issue.?
no it cant be all the relays are bad , if not clicking, the headlight switch is your problem or there a control module called EMIC module for lighting
the module can be checked with a diagnostic scanner , the most likely cause will be the headlight switch, the EMIC module i seen it go out at high mileage trucks .
yours has 98k
Then relay is good .
headlight switch or the EMIC module is the issue.
on a diesel engine like yours that module is the underhood fuse box ,it is integrated in one unit .
on gas engine they have a separate emic module for it
will opt out if you feel that way, and let another expert help you
