Cruise control will engage about 80% of the time but turns

Customer Question

cruise control will engage about 80% of the time but turns off. Sometimes lasts just a second or two, other times you can go a couple miles

Have you checked the vacuum lines to the cruise control actuator or the actuator itself? Also you never have any issues with the brake light switch correct as a misadjusted brake light switch can cause this as well.

I can check the brake light switch and get back with you.might have checked the vacuum supply and it's all connected and holding vacuum
