Hello. I have a 2005 neon with auto trans(non turbo). The transmission was replaced and input speed sensor. I'm having the same issue of getting the code p0731 and the transmission is not shifting. The signal wire for the input sensor is 1.2/1.3 volts and the other wire is ground.

What are the steels? Also it's odd that this transmission is doing the exact same as the one I took out. It seems electrical because the engine light comes right back on as soon as I start the car.

P0731-GEAR RATIO ERROR IN 1ST


When Monitored:
The Transmission gear ratio is monitored continuously while the transmission is in gear.

If the ratio of the Input RPM to the Output RPM does not match the current gear ratio.
