My shift indicator on 2002 Dodge Durango is messed up and I can't get the car to start. How do I disengage the safety switch
JA: Does the engine turn over? How old is the battery
Customer: It won't turn over at all because of the safety switch
JA: Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: I was working on the transmission I disconnected the shift indicator cable and the transmission linkage now the shift Indicatordoesn't work and I won't turn over at all
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
JA: Great! What have you tried so far?
Customer: So far all I have tried moving the indicator table
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Dodge Mechanic should know about your Dodge?
Customer: If they know how to fix it. The problem with the transmission is it won't Shift unless the RPMs are really high I have not been able to figure out why
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Dodge Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.
