Hello and welcome! My name isCustomerand I can assist you with your question. Is the check engine light on? Are there any codes in the computer?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
Intermittent light, cyl 4 misfire, comes and goes
Expert:  Amedee replied 6 months ago.

Ok, have you had a basic tune up done?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I also pulled 1 plug wire at a time and could not isolate the rough idle to any particular cylinder
Expert:  Amedee replied 6 months ago.

What is the engine vacuum at idle?

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I will check it
Expert:  Amedee replied 6 months ago.

Ok, the engine vacuum is WAY TOO LOW. This is either caused by an air or a vacuum leak or incorrect valve timing. I would start by checking for vacuum leaks first and then check the timing belt marks as needed.

Expert:  Amedee replied 6 months ago.

In addition, the engine compression specs for this engine are 170 to 225 psi.

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
what is the proper value
Expert:  Amedee replied 6 months ago.

21 inches of vacuum at idle

Customer: replied 6 months ago.
I changed the head gasket, I will recheck the timing marks, I sprayed around the intake, and also plugged each vaccum line and got no response
Expert:  Amedee replied 6 months ago.

Ok, good! Then I would be checking the timing belt and marks next.

I am glad I can help!
