2001 24 valve dodge cummins. replaced lift pump 4 mo. ago

Customer Question

2001 24 valve dodge cummins. replaced lift pump 4 mo. ago and ran fine. Now engine acts as if it is starved for fuel, has no power, will go about 35 mph. Is ther something else that can cause this, unless the new lift pump is bad.

Hi Welcome to Just Answer! It could be either the lift pump or the injection pump. It is not unusual for the injection pump to fail after a lift pump failure.
