In this case the first thing I would do is check the cooling system for combustion gasses. There is a test vile and a vacuum ball and a fluid that changes colors if the test fails; Available at a few major chain parts stores for around $50usd. Anytime an engine has overheated it's a good idea to have the head gaskets and intake gaskets checked. Next thing I'd like to know is what are the temperatures like where you're at? and what kind of RPMs are you turning above 50 MPH (I'm assuming highway speeds) Vs. below 50?
Was this information helpful to you? I there anything else I can do to ensure a 5 star rating?!
