Adiano and I got a truck that was hot wired before n the guy I got it from isn't around anymore so I can't figure out how it all goes and I also wanted to know if a 1998 Dodge Dakota wirimng would match it

It would likely be easier & less expensive to Repair the Ignition Switch wires
Here is wires at the Ignition Switch to make it Start & Run

Constant 12 volts = RED & PINK/BLACK
Ignition 12 volts = Dark BLUE
Ignition #2 = BLACK/ORANGE (HEAT/AC)
Accessory = BLACK/WHITE
Starter = YELLOW

This wire is for the Key Chime
Keysense = Light BLUE (-)
