I have 2004 dodge 3500. Diesel dually. Running light came on

Customer Question

I have 2004 dodge 3500. Diesel dually. Running light came on the other night and wont turn off. If we take the fuses out one turns off one side the other turns off the other. Also the relay does turn them off.

Hello and welcome to just answer. This is caused by 3 possible things. 1 a stuck closed relay, 2 a failed FCM ( front control module ) or a short in the IPM (under hood fuse box ) Try swapping the relay 3ith another one. If the lights still stay on then disconnect the FCM. It is that skinny module attached to the IPM. If the lights go off, then replace the FCM. If they still are on, then replace the IPM. This answer is based on the fact that there is no aftermarket items like a security system or other device conneted to the lights.

I hope that this information is helpful and if so would you kindly rate my service?

Thank you.
