Have a 2000 ram 2500 diesel. Today I noticed rear brake

Customer Question

Have a 2000 ram 2500 diesel. Today I noticed rear brake lights, rear turn signals, rear flashers and reverse lights don't work. I have tail lights (at least when in park) and the auxiliary brake light on top of cab works fine. I checked fuses, they seem to be in order. Have not installed any after market stuff. All was working fine, last I drove the thing.

My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question had not received a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.

On allot of models that have trailer wiring I have seen where the trailer wiring can corrode and cause an issue like this here.I would inspect the wiring at the rear of the vehicle leading to the lights and if trailer wiring is equipped check the trailer wiring connections as well for any damage or corrosion causing this here.If a fault is found the affected wiring will need repaired to correct this fault here.If this is checked and found o.k. let me know so we can continue.

If more help is needed, use the reply tab to continue our conversation. If no further assistance is needed, kindly rate my service. You can rate at any time and we can continue to work on your question as this will not close out your question.Keep in mind in some cases it can be difficult to fully diagnose or help repair your vehicle without seeing it and I work on delivering the best possible answer from what I see to work with.

Thanks Pete
