Are you getting any codes? What type coder reader you using. I've seen this before couple times wound up being pcm. But let's take it from the top you say it spins want crank, have you checked fuel pressure, and ignition spark

With code reader plugged in the truck starts and runs fine no codes present un plug code reader and truck cranks but won't start

Okay I recommend checking all the powers and grounds at the ecm, I've had this before a few times actually, it would up being either a bad ecm or broken ground wires. With the reader unplugged whst is causing the no start? Does it have fuel pressure, spark, injector pulse?
