Customer Question

Customer: My malfunction indicator light stays on while engine is running.
JA: Thanks. Can you give me any more details about your issue?
Customer: When I started the engine all of the lights go out except the malfunction light. I checked the oil on the engine, checked trannie oil, checked all doors/closed, checked water. Light is still on.
JA: OK got it. Last thing — JustAnswer charges a fee (generally around $18) to post your type of question to Dodge Experts (you only pay if satisfied). There are a couple customers ahead of you. Are you willing to wait a bit?

hi there,

im cam, a licenced diagnostic tech.

your vehicle has detected a problem, and will require a scan to retrieve a trouble code.

this will require a scanner or code reader.

if you do not have one, most of the larger parts stores will scan your vehicle for free.

once you retrieve a code, i can point you in the right direction to repair it!

let me know what you find and i will do my best to help you

cam
