Customer: I have a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan that sometimes, more times than not, when I turn the defrost on, it blows out the main vents.

Customer: What details do you want? I select the defrost button, and instead of it blowing out of the defrost, it is blowing out of the main "body" vents

Hello and welcome to just answer. You have a sticking or binding HVAC mode dor actuator. I see this from time to time. Have a shop or the dealer check and replace the actuator. I am pretty sure that this will fix it.

If you want to replace it yourself, then let me know and I will be happy to send you the procedure
