My 1993 3/4 ton Cummins diesel truck will not go into reverse. Just happened yesterday and no warning . Fluid level is good.

Good morning..

When you select reverse is the shifter rod moving the transmissison linkage? If so then you have an internal issue most likely clutches or seals and it will need to be removed/disassembled to repair.. Your 1993 doesn't have any electrical sensors for reverse as it's hydraulic controlled and if you don't have reverse but have all the other gears then yes the transmission will need to be pulled..
