Customer Question

2002 Dodge Intrepid 2.7L engine < 100k miles. Had a timing chain replaced and water pump replaced. Shop is indicating that it is an electrical issue - although dealership and two JustAnswer experts indicate mechanical (one tooth off). Are seeing p0016 codes. Replaced Cam and Crank sensor w/ no better luck.Any way to help eliminate electrical system? If the CAM or Crank sensor are not plugged in - will the car still operate? Will it throw a new code indicating a sensor not being present?
