It's a v6 3.0 automatic if that helps

Hello,

It's mounted to the bottom of the HVAC housing. Below are the instructions for removing it.

Thanks, ***** ***** quick reply. Now to get to the bottom of the HVAC housing do I need to remove the dash assembly or center console. Because I have already pulled the assembly up, just haven't taken it off.
Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

Hi,

No need to remove the dash at all. Just the panel under the passenger side of dash. Then you should be able to just look up and see it attached to the bottom of the HVAC box.

Hi,

Thats it.

It looks different from the part I bought at autozonehttp://www.autozone.com/cooling-heating-and-climate-control/a-c-heater-blend-door-actuator

I assume the temp control from hot to cold is not working?

If so, see if it moves when you switch from hot to cold. If it doesnt move, disconnect the arm and move the arm manually and see if the temp changes.

when i turn it to hot the driver side stays cold and the passenger side is lukewarm to hot.

I think that pic you sent is the mode controler for the air flow direction, not the blend control because the blend control has a shaft and not a lever.

Expert:  Virtual Wrench replied 1 year ago.

Plus, the blend control mounts to the bottom and not the side i believe.

the part you bought looks right.

The blend door is nowhere visible on the hvac so it has to be inside. I have pulled up the dash and the carpet behind the center console panel under the hvac. I know on the dodge stratus sedans it's visible.
