have mitchell pro demand got that info just wondering if you have seen a problem like this car runs fine now was just upgrading cams and marks on balancer are off half inch when cams are in time
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

What are you referring to when you say your upgrading the camshafts? Are they factory camshafts?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no aftermarket but i just pulled the camcover off lining up marks on crank to start disassebly when marks didnt line up
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

Being it's a timing chain engine, once you have it lined up you don't need to spin it around a few times to see if it lines up because once it's set it should stay set.. Are you 100% sure to alligned them correctly?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i havent taking it apart yet
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

OK so you replaced the camshafts without taking the timing apart?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no i havent taking anything apart yet
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

Are you saying that the factory timing marks are off?

I attached the timing removal because you may have a early or late build so when you remove the cover check and make sure the keyway is in the 9'oclock position which will indicate TDC..

Thank you for rating me positive so I'm credited for my time..

Have a great day,
