2003 Dodge Caravan jumper cables were put on backwards and burnt something out. Put on another computer and another battery on it and still didn't want to start right. Started for 30 seconds then cut off

Hello the problem you are describing is with the security system, this other computer you put on has it been programmed with the correct vin number and has the skreem been reset? This would have been done by whoever flashed the pcm

If this is not done the vehicle will crank run for up to a minute and die but if continued cranking attempts are made it will then disable cranking of the starter. And if cables were hooked up backwards, you may have problems with the forward control module,
