I have a question, I know I have to replace the o2 sensors

Good evening. I have a question, I know I have to replace the o2 sensors in my vehicle which is an 08 Dodge Avenger SXT v6 2.7 I know it needs four, this is the confusing part, it needs two? and two? can someone please help me?

I may be able to clear this up for you. I think that you are referring to the names of the position that each sensor is in. Your vehicle does have 4 total O2 sensors. The numbering for these goes like this:

Bank 1 Sensor 1 - upstream sensor in exhaust manifold

Bank 1 Sensor 2 - downstream sensor farther down exhaust pipe in catalytic converter 6in down

Bank 2 Sensor 1 - upstream on the opposite exhaust manifold

Bank 2 Sensor 2 - downstream sensor farther down pipe in converter 6 in down
