Hello...welcome and thank you for using Justanswer.

Do you remember what trouble code came up when scanning the engine computer ?

Yes, the coil pack is a common problem on this vehicles but also are the spark plugs and the spark plug wires , I would try to get the trouble code P???? and then check that cylinder ,inspect the spark plug and look close to the wire for burned spots.

Let me know what you find .

Thank you very much.

Have replaced plugs and wires codes pop32 and p2302 showed after plugs and wires wer installed
Expert:  I. Silva replied 1 year ago.

Hi there , the code P2302 is for the Ignition coil ( A ) secondary circuit , if you have the same code after replacing the coil the problem is going to be a broken wire between the coil and the PCM or the PCM itself.

Do you have a test light to check the power ground and pulse at the coil pack ?

Key on - Brown/white wire should have power.

Cranking--Dark blue/ Tan wire should pulse (ground) Connect the test light to positive side of battery.

Let me know what you find.

Well I cant give you an answer but I can help you find it. The previous expert i believe was on the right track, did you check the wiring as he suggested? My experience has been a faulty ecm, but it could be in the wiring, What we are saying is happening that the coil isnt being pulsed by the ecm for that cylinder. Which would cause no spark and skip. So how can I help you get this fixed
