I had a leak on my truck that I had to locate just a few days ago. What I did was reach through the sunroof holding the garden hose slowly getting everything wet until I zeroed in on when it would leak, while I was sitting in the drivers seat.

where was it leaking from?

Mine? The moon roof. But mine is a Ford F350.

I don't even think mine was technically a leak. I just got this truck and I don't think I fully understood how the moon roof worked. It would close, then if you would press the close button again, it would open slightly to vent and I think it was vented. I read the owners manual on how to operate it and figured it was just that I must have had it vented because after I properly closed it no more water came in.

Have you tried sitting in the vehicle and watching as you hold a garden hose to pinpoint the spot where it leaks?
