Is this an independent front suspension or link/coil front suspension?

Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

Are you using any special tools?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
No special tools just a 2007 dodge 4x4 1500
Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

I assume this is the link/coil. Do you have the steering knuckle completely off the vehicle?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
it was i replaced the upper and lower ball joints

Can't you grab the ball joint with your hand and move it to wherever you want to make it go in straight? Is it the spot where the nut goes on that looks crooked or is it where the actual ball joint seats that looks crooked?

Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

Do you have a camera? If so, send me some pictures of what you are talking about.

Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

Do the ball joints get pressed into the knuckle or screw it, etc?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The knuckle will not line up with the ball joint. The ball joint is in the right way
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
The ball joint is pressed in

I have to opt out. I cannot see what is going on and I am waisting your time.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

If the knuckle won't go in far enough to allow the ball joint to go in the problem is most likely related to the axle. If the axle isn't all the way into the hub or if one of the CV joints has over extended and stuck instead of falling back together then it will hold the knuckle out too far for the upper ball joint to go back in the hole.If you're unable to get it close enough for the hole to line up then double check the CV joints and make sure the splines are fully seating in the hub.
