Good afternoon and welcome to JustAnswer!!

When you press down do you hear the motor straining or trying to move the seat?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
the seat goes up but nothing when you try to go down no sound

Thanks for the reply!!!

I have attached the seat wiring to herlp you diagnose it.. I would check for 12v on the vertical motors and moving the switch.. If it's good then remove the motor and see if it will move. If not replace the motor, if it will move you will need to replace the seat adjuster...

I hope this helps,

Brad

is there a way to move the adjuster down manuly??
Expert:  -Brad- replied 1 year ago.

Well if the seat adjuster is fine then yes you can remove the motor and turn the shaft by hand to lower the seat.. But if it will not turn then you will need a new seat adjuster...

Glad I could help and thank you for the positive rating,

Brad
