Hello and welcome to Justanswer!

I suspect your transmission is probably going into limp in. When the trans controller sees an issue it thinks can cause damage or it doesn't have complete control it will take power away from the trans and locks you in fourth gear. This will make it feel sluggish on takeoff. There are many possible causes for limp in, the most common on this trans being the solenoid pack on top the valve bdy.

The engine light is on, correct?
