The security system on my 2004 Dodge truck goes off when I open the door or start the truck. The truck does start

When this occurs you can reset the security system by locking and unlocking the drivers door with the key 3 times. Try this and let me know what you find.

Factory. I bought the truck new

The teuck will start and you can drive it if you want to with the lifhts flashing.

Did you try the key trick with the passenger door to?

Dodges are common for breaking the wires that run from the body to the door harness.

Pull back the rubber boot and carefully inspect all of the wires. Do the dome lights all turn off and on when opening and closing the doors?

I cant find any wires broke. I am still having the same issue

On the dash does the park, neutral, drive, display work normally? when it is shifted through the entire gear range.

There is a known issue with the transmission range sensor, or park neutral switch failing causing this concern.

The component reports to the ecm for the gear position.
