At what point would I check and what readings should I get?

At what point would I check and what readings should I get? to make sure fuel pump is working properly.

First of all is this a Ram pickup?

What will you be testing with, a voltmeter or 12 volt test light?

I would start be testing both sides of those fuses with the key on what the diagram says when the fuse is hot, then feel if the fuel pump relay is clicking when you turn the key to run
