Yesterday while driving home the battery charging light came

Customer Question

Yesterday while driving home the battery charging light came home. I made it home no problem and this morning car started no problem but the light came on again so I went back home. So will check battery, cables, alternator.
What is odd though, I have an issue with my car sounding like a jet engine at times (along with water fountain sound upon acceleration) but when the battery charging light came on yesterday, my car runs quieter - like it's supposed to. Could the battery and these sounds be related?

Yes, they can be related. But it sounds like the alternator is not putting out correctly.

And the bearings are making noise.

The alternator not putting out correctly will make the battery light to come on.

Do you still need assistance?
