Hi, 2007 Dodge Durango. Dead battery today, gotta jump start was good. Then would not start again. Even with the jump start. Got a new battery. Test a battery full charge. Still will not start I get 1-click

I get 1 click at the starter, sounds like old school starter solenoid issue. But, no startinging issues prior, wondering if electronic issue with computer or alarm

Thank you for that information. If the starter is clicking, that means it is getting voltage. If this is the case, then it should not be related to the computer or the alarm system.

It sure sounds to me like the starter motor itself it bad causing your no crank condition.

It only does 1 click. And won't de-energize unless key is turned off.. No him, no buzz, just one click. I just got towed home. I will pull the starter and bench test tomorrow. I will the back in with you then.
