I drove through standing water and it locked up and stalled the car. We can't get it to run.

does the motor turn over at all or is it turning over but not starting ? ...jazzmaster ..

It is not turning over. It started to just click when you would turn the key. We had the starter checked and it's okay, we replaced the battery (it was old anyway). It didn't change the behavior. We smelled an electrical smell from the alternator and manually moved that to make sure it wasn't seized up. After that it sounded like it would turn over but it didn't. We replaced the oil and spark plugs and still sounds like it's going to start but won't.

ok, did you take out all the spark plugs and then try cranking over the motor to push out any water that got into the cylinders ?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
We took out the front three but didn't know how to get to the back three. No water came out of the front three cylinders
